We are always looking for qualified electricians, someone who likes to do more than just run conduit and pull wire (however, those are needed skills as well).  Do you like to troubleshoot, dig deep and find out what makes something work, or not work?  If you are a bit of a geek, are experience with PLC’s and basic computer logic, you might have the skills we need.  Much of our work is in the grain industry, which like all industries today, has become more and more technical. Machinery is run by PLC’s not just a basic on/off switch and a motor circuit.  The right candidate will work in all facets of our business, not strictly limited to electrical.

This person would assist with electrical operational safety and performance testing of equipment prior to it being brought on-line. Electricians must be capable of wiring motors, switches, circuit breakers and fuse boxes operating on AC/DC control systems, understand installing electrical panel boards, load centers, conduit, conductors and power transformers. Applicants with acceptable training and experience including a high school diploma or equivalent are acceptable. Email your resume with IES Electrician in the subject line. Work experience with power distribution systems up to 480v in an industrial environment is desired. Knowledge of computer use and software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel is also beneficial.

General labor for grain dryer service company mechanical and electrical knowledge a plus. Should be able to hang conduit and pull wire. An interest in learning electrical circuitry and troubleshooting would be beneficial. Successful candidate will be able to be at work on time, work 40 hrs. a week plus. Must be able to climb 100ft, lift 75lbs, work in all types of weather. Good working knowledge of different tools and their use. Email your resume with IES Technician listed in the subject line.
